  • Any new gear/knife reviews soon?

  • I have no money... haha. i'm actually trying to set up a get home bag, i may post videos of that if ppl are interested.

  • Great review. Can you get it anywhere else?

  • I think you can find it online... but I haven't seen this color. Only brown. Just type in 'Black Diamond Soft Shell' in google and see what comes up under the shopping link. But I think it's more expensive...

  • Just stumbled across these @ costo for $27.99. For under $30, think of a reason not to buy one!

  • where can you buy these in Canada? anyone know?

  • Thanks for this review. I am gonna buy one of these now, as soon as I find one at a decent price.

  • Black Diamond is not a no name brand. They have been around for like 20 years making ski & climbing gear in the NorthWest. One of the owners used to be with Mountain Hardware and others. His goal is to use technology and new materials to make the best/ cheapest gear.

He used a new teflon coating to make these costco softshells. He could have used some very expensive DWR like Schoeler but why pay more when you can get the same thing for less.

  • i have a tad gear ronin hoodie and honestly you pay for the fit and finish, costco soft shells repel water very nicely as well

  • does anybody know where I can find these jackets now? I bought a long time ago at Costco. Today I crashed on my bike and pretty much destroyed mine. Too bad - I love this jacket.

  • looks like my nordictrack but mine was expensive

  • I picked one up at the Reno, NV Costco a couple days ago. Just picked it up 'cause it looked like good quality, and I needed something like it... come to find out it's actually a lot better than I expected. Was only like 30 bucks.
