INSTRUCTOR: Daniel Kang (Groove Against the Machine)

Daniel Kang first started dancing at San Jose State University taking begining hip hop classes and soon realized that this was something he had fun doing. After one year of just taking classes, Daniel continued his dance journey by joining various local dance teams, and quickly found himself a home with Culture Shock Oakland. After a few years of training, he had the pleasure of being the artistic director, and gained the knowledge and growth to start his own company, Groove Against the Machine. Daniel defines his style of dance as simple, but stylish. He loves anything he can groove to, and wishes to share his vision of dance with anyone whose there to learn.
