@TelumehtarOriOn How could I not understand it...it's so banal and crude. It reminds me mostly of the stuff you found in the UK in the early 80s. Simple, situational and above all utterly dated when you re-watch it. Look at all these shows like Peep Show, The Office (which Germans stole and turned it into a crappy sitcom), The Mighty Boosh, Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle, 15 Storeys High. There's nothing like that in Germany at all. All very subtle, ironic and black.

If you don't understand our humour than maybe it is you who doesn't have a sense of humour?! Have yo ever been to Germany?
-
@TelumehtarOriOn And that was surely an example of German humour was it? Hardly Oscar Wilde. But don't get me wrong, Germany has it's good points, just humour isn't one of them. Merry Christmas to you too.
-
lol, I bet that you are one of these nutters who think that they are a captain on a pirate ship! Merry christmas!

@TelumehtarOriOn Loads of German bands sing in English you tit. And not one has any success outside the country apart from the ever dreadful Baseballs who are a novelty band. Unlike Scandanavian bands who enjoy loads of success internationally. And there you go banging on about the past again. Germany is good at making cars and chemicals these days. Get over it. You just sound like a desperate sad clown.

I don't think that you know any German movie. German bands aren't that famous outside of the German speaking world because of the language. The quality of the music is not the reason. It's just a stupid stereotype that Germany doesn't have good bands. We are the home of the world's greatest composers and we still produce good music.
-
Jep, you are an ignorant. I know bands from many countries, I also know some English bands, but most of these English bands are overrated. However, England had good bands in the past like the Beatles, Oasis, Blur, Stones, Led Zep and the bands of NWOBHM. But these days are over. This is strange: If you don't like German movies, why do you watch all of them?!? German movies got many nominations in international festivals, you can google it.
-
@TelumehtarOriOn You just admitted you dont know many Contemporary English bands...yet I'm ignorant. You really are a deluded moron. I know more or less every German band and movie released in the last 15 years and about 1 in a 10000 have even the slightest of merit. German films barely get nominations in international festivals and about 3 German bands sell any records outside the country. That's not my opinion....it's a fact. So run along now.
-
lol, propping up the past is something English people love to do. I don't know many English contemporary bands. Why should I mention some German movies or bands? You are an ignorant fool and you don't want to know any German bands or movies.
-
@TelumehtarOriOn I see you don't bother to name any excellent contemporary German bands...and stick with the long dead. But German film and music had their day and are now a hollow broken shell of what they used to be driven by commercialism and short term profit. But if propping up the past makes you feel better....please by my guest.
Love the way Henning's irony is totally lost on that fool Carr when Carr makes the totally redundant "you can take the guy out of Germany" remark.
