  • What are they gonna use this for? Carrying fat people? And You nailed it in kaitak? I bet you can fly a car next.

  • Spastic bozo, what's w/ all the spinning around? Pick a limited number of views and stick with it. I couldn't enjoy the vid.

  • The Boeing Pelican is supposed to be flown at an altidue of 20ft, making use of the aerodynamic interaction between the wings and the surface known as ground effect.

  • @pokematt99 Not my video. You might entertain yourself this afternoon/evening with a SearchSession looking up "Ekranoplan", "Ground Effect Vehicle", "Surface Skimmimg Aircraft". Have Fun! Some Whacky BoatPlaneDesigns For Sure! (maybe the small personal prototypes could work!)

  • @YosupMofo can i ask what u used to record?

  • @pokematt99 You are absolutely correct, sir.

This would theoretically be "flown" as a "Wing-In-Ground-Effect" or WIG-e. This would only be practical above water at an altitude of less that half-span height. In Ground Effect, approx 50% less power is needed for operation; fly higher, (or try) and you lose the advantages of this peculiar design. The Russians tried it with some spectacularly huge monstrosities, but they proved impractical, and have never been put into series production.

  • hey dude i read some where saying this aircraft is only suppose to fly like 20-50 feet above water so it can fly really far. but if you fly high it will use alot of fuel and fly short range.

  • its not designed to fly dumbass its an ekranoplan... its made to 'hover' over water at very fast speeds carrying heavy equipment from a-b type ekranoplan into youtube n you will see what i mean

  • Cool video, ugly plane lol

  • where did u find that file
