I used to live 1/2 mile from West end of Fl Lauderdale Int. Airport (FLL). Close enough to just about read the part numbers on the landing gear. Anyway, after a few years the aircraft noise did wear me down, so I moved.
Not sure I could grow tired of the C-5 noise, 727's yes, but not C-5's
