Shame that this game got such poor reception.
It's one of the few turn-based RPGs out there that actually has challenge. I also like that the storyline is almost a complete rip-off of FF4 because that was my favorite one, and it got a less-than-stellar remake due to limited DS hardware.

The best way to beat him IMHO is to have Euphe go first and heal people have Mary go next and use Mana boost on Valen and then have Valen attack.
