You can see the little guy is compensating his breathing with his chest muscles. For infants most of the movement should be lower chest and abdomen. The sucking in of the sternum shows that his breathing is distressed. Most of the time you can't get away with inserting an OPA while they are conscious due to the gag reflex. So this baby is completely unconscious I'm assuming. Pretty scary stuff. Any other info on what happened? Did he make it?

:( its so sad when babies come into this world sick or w/ health problems it really breaks my heart bkuz theyre suppossed to be happy and love life not feel suffering and confusion of why theyre in pain ;( God bless all and this baby i hope hes better

@aznsensation931 VocalCord paralysis is a fairly common reason for a tracheostomy.
