That's a great sound. I think mine must be knackered as I get a weird distortion from it and it doesn't overdrive with Single coils at all anymore.

The funniest part: "Ainda me lembro do seu caminhar
Seu jeito de olhar, eu me lembro bem" lol
Cool! nice job

@marcosmcodas muchas gracias, I hope it's been useful. I learn a lot from tweaking cheap gear.
The amplug seems to cut down highs as you increase the guitar's gain. I don't know if that's the way real AC30s behave but I think it's nice. If it didn't, I'd either get shrill high gain sounds or muddy at low gain.
I heard some demos of the HR version. I don't think Vox made it quite as right as they did the AC30.

that was great dude, and I hear you about trying to cut corners when it comes to gear, I'm from Paraguay, and gear just isn't affordable back home. You got some great tones out of this thing, and convinced me to grab one. The clean tone is awesome, and the mid-gain is great for some blues, but as soon as you hit the highly overdriven mark, you lost tone, and got a LOT of buzzing instead. Still, there's the hard rock version, eh?
good times meu irmau, valeu and thanks very much!
Boy can you play or what? Sure it sounds good, the way you play anything would sound good. Nice job.

How much did Vox Amplug AC30 cost?
Dude this are some good sounds!

@Jule553648 they go for around $40 in the US. But here they cost 2x or 3x that price.

@gullywoots
but is it worth the money?
Jule553648 1 year ago
@Jule553648 I think it is! It's not too expensive, sounds good, is practical and very useful. It's small and plastic, however, so it may be a bit fragile for live use.
