Nancie Lee (Estrada) Shulte, age 63, passed away on Thursday, January, 20 2011 at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, CA after a four year battle with lung cancer. Both her daughters were by her side. She was born Nancy Lee Bruning in Portland, Oregon on September 3, 1947 to the late Fritz and Barbara Bruning. She was a resident of Gilroy, CA for the last 2 years but lived most of her adult life in Santa Clara, CA. Nancie graduated from Buchser High School in 1965. She became a Beautician right after high school but, worked for over 13 years as an Office Specialist III for the Santa Clara County's Mental Health Department and retired in 2009. She was a giver, she loved Jesus and enjoyed listening to gospel music. She helped support 3 kids in Uganda and had always dreamed of going to Africa to meet them one day. She was the Dear Sister of Rick and Fritz Bruning. The Loving Mother of Diva (Estrada) DeVincenzi and her husband Brook and Kristi (Estrada) Mercurio and her husband Joseph. The Cherished Grandmother of Ariana DeVincenzi, Austin DeVincenzi, Elyssa DeVincenzi, Christopher Mercurio, Avery DeVincenzi, Ethan DeVincenzi, Matthew Mercurio and Joey Mercurio. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Lima Family Mortuary at 466 N. Winchester Blvd. Santa Clara, CA 95050.
