Here is Heart of the Sunrise by Yes. This is the Bill Bruford version from Fragile.

  • You are excellent.

    Are you still playing?

  • @HomePersonalSecurity

Only play once or twice a year now. Each time it's like starting all over. If I have time I'll work on a song for a few days straight and then post.

  • Check out ebay, amazon, etc. You'll find used copies.

  • amazing cover man... any advice on how to learn the different measure changes and the notation of the song other than listening carefully? do u have tabs of some sort?

  • @yoavgro3

    Google "When In Doubt Roll"

  • Thanks for the video very precise cover!

I'll practice it whenever i have time.

One question are you using like a 13 stroke rudiment or something of that sort in the first few seconds or did you just come up with the most convenient way to get the same sound as the song?

  • It's a paradiddle-diddle.

  • Alan White blows compared to Bruford. So plain and boring.

  • Nice job! But to those people who are ripping Alan White, he's also an amazing drummer. He may not have the fills and fancy jazzy top-kit technique that Bruford does, but he does more interesting things with tempo changes, retards, and volume changes than Bruford does in my opinion. Bruford tends to play everything straight-jane like a metronome when it comes to tempo. I like them both, but I think people who blast White are missing a lot of great things he does that often go unnoticed.
