You can't judge what you don't know; VOJ hasn't released an original album with Jesse Forte yet. By the way, GNR lost a lot more than Slash, so it's not really a fitting comparison.

@kernelflack Because that riff is so used up by now. I mean, EVERYONE who picks up a guitar for the first time tries their hands on that riff. A band should be able to do _their_ version of any song, and I believe Jenna has achieved that with this song.
However, that riff is so damn epic that they shold made some sort of reference to it somewhere.
