@inlove4everbbw yes indeed, the aeroplane at 3:57 closest to the camera is a "subtype" of the Bf 109!
-
@mybluebelly not a Bf 109 but a FW190

I think you're getting your planes a bit confused here. The Buchon was a Meschershmit ME109 with as you rightly say, a merlin engine, built in Spain due to the fact that Germany wasn't allowed to build anything after the war. This is a replica Focke Wulf 190 built by Flugerwerk to pretty much exact original specs.. The Buchon ME109's have a large air intake under the prop for the merlin, the original 190 had a daimler benz in a much thinner nose.

@Splunker0013 It is full scale. The 190 was a small aircraft.

Hmmm....a FW-190 with a 4-bladed prop. Now THAT'S different. Sure a nice sound.

Me hubiese encantado estar en la segunda guerra mundial pilotenado ese pedazo de avion

Can somebody please tell me what type this Bf 109 is supposed to resemble?! I just think the front section looks very awkward. Like the ones you see in some b-movies.

@mybluebelly this 109 was build in Spain. It`s powered by a Merlin 500 engine. The spanish name is "Hispano Aviacion HA-1112" or Messerschmitt Bf 109 "Buchon".

@PaddyPatrone Ok, so was this a WWII bird, or just a modern mix? I have heard about the avia-199, so i take it the HA-1112 was the spanish variant?!

@mybluebelly yes there were no german Daimler Benz engines left when war was over, so they used the merlin.
