Everyone just laughed again. They went back inside the cabin, this time with Caitlyn joining. Mitchie and Shane sat up against Shane's bed. Tess and Caity were sitting on Nate's bed, with Nate leaning against it, and Jason on his bed.
Caitlyn: Okay, so. Mitchie, Tess. I got the music to your song!
Mitchie: REALLY?!
Tess: Are you a miracle worker?
Caitlyn: Not yet. I just have ah-mazing skills.
Tess: Okay, Massie.
Shane: Massie?
Jason: I thought her name was Caitlyn.
Nate: It is Caitlyn. They are making fun of the Clique books, becuz there is a character named Massie who always puts emphasis on stuff, like AH-mazing.
Everyone looks at him oddly.
Nate: *blushes* I was bored...
Mitchie: *clears throat* Okay, moving on...
Tess: *still thinks Nate has lost it* Okay, well, Cait? You have your laptop! Let's hear it!
Caitlyn: OKAY! *opens up her laptop and plays the song. she hands Tess and Mitchie each music sheets with their parts on it*

Shane: *walks outside*
Mitchie: *breathes, and walks out*
Shane: *smiles at her*
Mitchie: What? You pull me out here to smile at me?
Shane: No...I...was...was that song about me?
Mitchie: Well...ya know...well...yeah...
Shane: *smiles* I knew it.
Mitchie: What gave it away?
Shane: Well, first, I noticed the title, and listened to the lyrics for a while. One love? I figured it must be about me, or you're cheating on me. *worry flashes over his face* You aren't, right?
Mitchie: *offended* NO! God...I couldn't even pull off my lie last summer, how would you expect me to pull off cheating on you? I can barely sneak downstairs and get a midnight snack without being yelled at...
Shane: *laughs* That, I believe.
Mitchie: *laughs* Excusing my clumsiness, what else gave the song away?
Shane: The part where it says:

Mitchie: Oh, right. Well, actually, I was having a flashback moment when I wrote that, and I remembered you saying that you never really knew if people were chillin' with you for the parties or the free stuff.
Shane: Chillin'?
Mitchie: WHATEVER POPSTAR!
Shane: ROCKSTAR!
Mitchie: *smiles* How 'bout superstar?
Shane: *grins* That works.
Mitchie: *smiles, and is about to go back in, but then is pulled back by Shane. when she finally turns around, she is about 3 centimetres from his face, and they're very close* Why, hello there.
Shane: *smiles and leans in*
Mitchie: *makes contact with his lips*
Shane: *pulls away*
Mitchie: ?
Shane: Michelle? I am going to teach you how to kiss.
