Honoring an individual does not justify the pain of thousands of others. Can you explain why hundreds of thousands were expelled from their own country? What about the stories of oppression that these refugees keep on repeating. A person can lie but how can thousands of people lie together?

Trouble makers as usual. We are all Bhutanese and if you are talking of opression, Dasho Bharat Tamang was awarded the red scarf and sword this National Day, Dec 17,2009. who is a Nepali (we prefer to say Lhotsampa),

bhutanese monarchy should be ashamed of itself for opressing its nepali speaking innocent, hardworking and decent subjects.

I am the Bhutanese, and deeply love my kings, people and country. Whoever assembled on the historic day to pay on reverence for celebrations not only speak nepali but hindi, bengali, punjabi......

I would love it if you would post a youtube video of the group singing the anthem in full. There is no youtube video at all of the vocal version of the anthem. If you did this, I'd really appreciate it.

Don't try to bring such issues out here. Such historic celebrations is for every Bhutanese. You are trying to spoil the show. Please don't do that.
How many nepalese speaking people participated the programme? Would somebody so kind to let us know.
