Make sure it's near a beach if you are purchasing something in Hawaii, and not behind the hospital in a bad part of town. And take a look at your vacation expenses for the last few years and weigh them against what you will be spending on the timeshare purchase... will you be saving money or averaging more to buy a timeshare? You need to answer all these questions if you are going to make a good decision about timeshares.

You are forgetting the most important factor . Timeshares aren't for saving money on vacations . They offer luxury and exclusivity . If one wants to save money , rent a 100 s.f. room in a cheap motel instead of a luxurious 1,200 sf condo in a resort . .
