Very good repurposing!
I don't know if you've modified it with foil yet but I think one of those throw away aluminum turkey roaster would work well to focus the light. Just keep in mind how hot these lamps can get. They've been know to start curtain fires.

@VivianRinSC I just cleaned it of all the dust and it's pretty bright. And I only use it when I 'm around.
