My World....

I took my love and took it down
I climbed a mountain, I turned around
And I saw my reflection in a snow covered hill
'til a landslide brought it down

Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?

Well, I've been afraid of changing cause I've
Built my life around you
Time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I'm getting older, too
I'm getting older, too

I took my love and took it down
I climbed a mountain, I turned around
And if you see my reflection in the snow covered hill
The landslide brought it down
The landslide brought it down

Here's a little quote if you really think SP is religious.

"While i may be no expert on this reality, there is no god but Shame. God is hurt, god is cold. Try that once, god is dead. There is not another one."

    -The Smashing Pumpkins

  • I realize the tag discussion is 6 months old, but I think that @LeBaronDePropane is thinking too literally. The "religious music" tag is a little tongue in cheek. It's not saying that the song or singer are trying to convey any message about God or a particular religion, but rather that the song is so beautiful and moving that it is a metaphorical "religious experience" to listen to.

  • the show ALIAS brought me here :)) this is an AMAZING song!!!

  • @LeBaronDePropane "'Life is because God is" And thats a quote from Billys Twitter..So i guess things change

  • i love this song, tear jerker

  • im crying like a bitch =[

  • @LeBaronDePropane Man, one of the tags says "Baroque"... and "Classical" and "Smiths", etc. WTF!

  • almost died last time i heard this...but it was the fleetwood mac version.

  • Ohh billy, I love you so

  • D'arcy was so seductive in the photos of this vids! =))

  • @LeBaronDePropane

But Corgan's opinion has nothing to do with the song lyrics since it was written by Stevie Nicks.

    It's not religious though.
