SHORT EXPLANATION OF THE STORY IN THE AMV:
Both Kaname and Aidou have feelings for each other... but due to his position as a pureblood and to the nature of his love (because he loves a guy) Kaname tries to suppress his feelings, but he finds himself too caught in them and that desire consumes him deeply... so he tries to hide it so that no one knows.
On the other side, Aidou, feeling hurt, starts to fool around (with Yuki, Zero and Akatsuki) and do stupid things just in order to gain Kaname's attention and to piss him off! But Kaname's eyes can't stop to follow Aidou, so while pretending to be indifferent, he becomes more and more jelaous... in fact Aidou is very popular!
The only thing Kaname wants is to forget this love so painful that he can't even breath nor sleep, so he decides to distance himself, being "nice" to people (like Yuki and Ruka) who would hurt Aidou, while Aidou becomes more and more angry and they start to quarrel ( ex. when Kaname slaps him).

this is amazing! if I had never seen vk, I would have thought it was a Shonen Ai. seriously awesome. but just one thing: I kinda missed Hanabusa being hit and slapped by Kaname throughout the rest of the anime and manga. not that I love his pain, but slaps= love ^U^
