This is PART 2 of a 2 Part series on how to use the CAPTAIN SIM 727 autopilot to shoot an ILS landing. I used the ILS RWY 19R (CAT II) approach plate for Kansas City Intl. If you would like to print it off and follow along with the tutorial you can find the plate here - http://flightaware.com/resources/airp...

  • very nice tutorial. very well spoken. About the Approach-Speeds: Check Google for performance charts. There's also a realism mod available in the avsim forum which enhances the flight dynamics and EPR gauges. Then you can really fly this thing by the tables, which is alot fun.

  • @blub77 Thanks! I'll check into the mod... It sounds great.

  • Thanks sir, nice landing!!!

  • @baludinho Thanks!

  • did you have full flaps

  • @TheProPilot100 - No I don't use full flaps on the 727... from what I can tell they (full flaps) are not to be used unless an emergency. If you own the CS727 you can check the manual or zoom in next to the flaps gauge and you'll see a warning message about using full flaps. Thanks for the comment.

  • Very very nice movie man, touch the reality, and the view from the vc and the sound is a very immersive.i want more of video like this, excellent, 5 stars:)

  • I like the captain sim 727 for fs2004 but what bums me out is I have a couple freeware planes that are much better as far as flight dynamics go and a couple panels that are far superior. Still the thing is nice.

  • @ottoramsaig the approach plate heading must have changed since I've made this video... You know with the changes in magnetic headings over time.
