Hi I have a 3 million color LED underglow. I was wondering how you hooked it up so that it turns on while the alarm goes off? I just bought my 5701 alarm and remote starter. Really appreciate it. Thanks.

800, that the price of alarm and install your talking about? I am thinking about getting the viper 5902, I can get it for 200 bucks if I order through viper, cause I work for best buy :P

Yes. it senses motion inside the vehicle if the car alarm is active.

If you have the lightstrike kit it will have a input for a car alarm. You just wire the car alarm trigger to the 12+ input of the lightstrike kit & it will work.

I bought the 5701 & Smart Start module from Best Buy. If you have some good electrical background & you can read schematics it's not bad. The smartstart module is pretty much plug & play into the 5701 brain. I think with everything it was around $600. Best Buy wanted $800 to install.
