@codini2000 I'm only now discovering all the goodies from that era since I was just a kid then. Luckily the west coast electro-boogie fans never lost their love and have it well documented and keep promoting it. It's making a comeback too. Snoop, being a huge fan, is doing his part to support it show mad love. You could even say Sensual Seduction was him trying to make his jam.
12 years later I still can't believe what happened with Larry and Roger. Makes no fucking sense.
@ollieill1 thanks for the info... im a huge fan of zapp and roger and i agree the ronnie hudson on vocals version is king, cool that it spawned a couple beasts as well. yeah 77'-84' is where my favorite jams are from too.
@codini2000 Roger produced the original with Ronnie on vocals and then used the same lyrics later on in other classic jams with that signature vocoder sound. You probably have to dig a little deeper to find out who actually wrote them. I love Zapp and Roger tunes, but the original with Ronnie Hudson has a nice organic funky sound that instantly makes your ass shake. '77-'84 or so has some real funky jams that were under the radar in their day.
