I Found Andean Musicians at Machu Picchu, Peru

Andean musicians play all over the world, and are in my videos from Russia and Israel, among many other countries. But I never saw them in Ecuador. So I was determined to find Andean musicians in Peru, original home of the Inca music and unique instruments they play. The search seemed hopeless, but success came at Machu Picchu, a segment from "The Inca Lost and Found", a free Intrepid Berkeley Explorer video that features Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley of the Incas, Cuzco, Inca interviews, the search for Andean musicians, Lima, the Nazca Lines, and other parts of Peru.

This group of wonderful Andean musicians, Allpa Machupicchu, was selling their own CD, "Condor Pasa", which I bought from them on that visit to Machu Picchu in 2000. So they already have recorded, but I doubt that CD is available outside of Peru.
