These videos seem to be poor-quality copies of the originals at Fur-Bearer Defenders. Their FAQ document answers a lot of the questions that have been asked or answered incorrectly in these YouTube comments (sorry, it looks like I can't include URLs here). The FAQ quotes the trap's inventor on its inherent inaccuracy: there is no way to predict just where on the body the trap will strike.

How about 1 to 2 minutes to die.....most humaine way to dispatch an animal.  You must have rigged some of these traps. I have watched them get caught and be dead in less than a minute.........

I know of no Trapper who has gotten that good of footage of trapping animals...so you care so much about animals to set traps with fake weaker springs and then set up underwater cameras to show their suffering? SICK way to support your stupid cause...

the main reason people dont like trapping is because they don't understand how an animal is going to die in the wild. I personally would rather get caught in a conibear or drown than i would like to get eaten alive or starve. Animals victim to traps have much more pleasant deaths than those that don't. There is no animal that just dies of old age peacefully or something like that. Lay off fricken tree hugger. Trapping is a part of our history. KEEP THE TRADITION ALIVE.

most trappers use a 220 to 440 for beaver thats 220 to 440psi that would break your leg

All of those conibear catches were bad, and they put off more than 90 psi. You seem to be very uneducated and really should learn about a topic before you post a video on it. Have a nice day.
