Pound Cake

This is one of my Grandmother's recipes. It's so good :)
Pound cake is great in so many ways...just plain, with icing, buttercream frosting or a glaze, with fresh fruit or strawberries and whipped cream. It's perfect for a Baked Alaska, which I will be posting next week :)
Bake it in loaf pans or a bundt or tube pan. ENJOY!!!

Candra, I have a beautiful recipe for butterscotch sauce that I want to jar over the weekend to give as a gift. I want to give it with pound cake but didn't have a recipe that I knew for sure was nice. I am going to use this one - thank you!

thank you Candra the pound cake was a hit, I made 3, had to freeze for 3 days, and served with berries, it was perfect!
