This video presentation shows what I have completed over my RMIT 2010-2011 summer studentship. The project gave the opportunity for me to work on this for 8 weeks full-time.
The basic premise is to have the NXT robot sort balls to the correct goals using off-the-shelf components. This is achieved using the Lejos NXJ firmware on the Lejo brick, and through osgART/OpenCV to provide off-board computer vision.
