  • Are those things designed to run at constant RPM?

  • The generator starts at 800rpm after which we put in an electronic rpm device which keeps always an output of 50Herz at 400V. This means when there is a heavy load suddendly the device will inclease rpm to keep the motor at 50Herz at all times.

We have run it for 5 days last weekend and it runs remarkably even at higher loads (18kW)

  • procon... description en english?

  • In english it is the first run of our self-build generator which we used an old Ford Mondeo motor and a second-hand generator form a small ship. Thiese were exactly in line so we didn't have to use a gearbox which is better since those things break down often. It provides 230V-50Hz when runnig 3000 rpm, use of diesel 2 liters /hour. We will use it on board of our own Scouts ship in Delft.

  • lack of back pressure doesn't burn valves.

  • Is that a 1800cc Ford diesel engine?

  • you really need to keep your hours down until you get some kind of exhaust system on that, so you dont burn a valve.

  • I don't understand what you created here?

  • danke
