This explains why Stephen became a follower of Sanatana-dharma, the Vedic tradition, and became a Krishna bhakta. It describes how he studied all of the world religions and spiritual processes and finally chose the Vedic process as the last bastion of deep spiritual knowledge. This is more fully explained in an article of the same name on his website at: www.stephen-knapp.com. Also, to understand more about the name "Hindu", both good and bad, go to the article "About the Name Hindu" on Stephen's website. However, to fit into other videos about this topic, I have titled it as I have.

  • @111theflash after all that, final knowledge one must attain is about one and only parabrahmam, sachidananda, Ishwara. unifying the jivatma with paramatma is our ultimate goal. Narayana.

  • @111theflash in hinduism it said knowledge leads to enlightenment, since you are born and raised as a christian, it takes a lot of time and effort to become a hindu but with knowledge it will be possible. you cant just go on to read the gita because you would not get it. to understand gita and vedas, you need lots of background information. bhagvatam is good and mahabharatham, ramayanam. read all ths and gita, there are big once like vedas and upanishads but that takes a lot to understand

  • @MrIndoCanadian i am hindu from india. i am surprised to know as to how you come to the truth. god bless you to come out of vicious cycle of birth and rebirth. attain MOKSHA....om tat sat.

  • I am a White Canadian Hindu myself.

  • @111theflash. I would suggest read a bhagvad gita and visit Iskcon temple near by you. Devotees are always welcoming and helping with any question you have. They have free Bhagvadgita classes every morning and sunday evening and feast.

  • @111theflash same thing happened to me, now I'm chanting to the real Father and Mother every day. When you already asked so nicely here what to do, you get the answer : you can get the good version of bhagavad-gita on asitis com, ;) Jaya Prabhupada, Jai Shri Krishna Chaitanya, Jai Radharamana

  • Your path is very similar to mine. After all the texts, books & scriptures ultimately the Vedas aka the remnants of the Maharatas is the highest knowledge on this biosphere.

  • I'm am atheist but I kinda want to become a Hindu. What do I do? Also, I'm legally catholic

  • @Chilenita2009

You don't really need to convert to Hinduism. It is open to all faiths. Read the religious text, enlighten yourself, enlighten others, and our journey of re-births will end!

  • i'm a christian but i'm facinating by indian culture and their gods and goddess...

but feel rejected by christians rejecing me by worship or practice hindi culure.. what do you suggest... well sometimes i chant to lord ganesh.... even though i do not pronounce perfectly, but i try... i feel peace but little scare as well.. thank you
