  • This song is "I'd Rather Go Blind" and was first recorded by Etta James in 1967. It was recorded as a pop song of the era but it is pure blues. Etta sings R & B, Blues, Gospel, Pop... There is really no kind music she can't sing. She is one of my favorites.

  • i love this kind of music too.. its so feeling!.. just beautiful! the guitar, the singer, everything! this video is so cool! thanks 4 posting

  • It's unfair! Why are so many people interested in this kind of music? I knew only k-pop. This is my first time listening to Korean blues.

  • Nice! In the US, this music is actually called 'soul' music (the origins are from blues, gospel, R&B, etc.). This song was originally released on the pop/R&B charts by Etta James in 1969 and has been covered by many artists since, including Rod Steward in 1972. The guitarist is playing blues riffs for sure. Search the song title "I'd Rather Go Blind" on YouTube with the name Etta James to hear the original (and also search it with the name Rod Stewart or the band, The Faces).

    Enjoy!

  • The guitarists name is Chai. I had the privilege of going to listen to him almost every night in his "Just Blues" club when I lived in Seoul back in 1995. My good friend was his keyboardist at the time as well. Good times. The man is a guitar genius.

  • plz u have to tell how does this kind of music is called!..
