I continue to use and abuse my plow. As you can see, my usage is extreme. I just put on a new winch and am back at it. It's been a great unit to have, I can tell you that!

It's a manual adjustment. You lift the plow a few inches off the ground, pull a lever and then swing the blade left or right. There's a spring loaded catch that releases the arm into a set hole on the right or left side of the frame. When you get it lined up, you let go of the adjustment arm and it locks into place. I mostly leave it straight ahead...

does the plow turn automatically from a swich, or is it stationary?

I 've used snowbear plows for 15 or 16 years. the first one i had cost me 600 or 700 new. used it for 10 years, sold it to my brother with the truck, we put a new 100 dollar winch on it and it is still being used 5 years later. the second plow i have had for 5 years and works great. It is no meyers but it is less than a 1/3 the price and is perfect for doing my driveway and my families driveways. you will not be able to slam into mountains of snow to push them back like you can with meyers.

MY grand father had one on his truck and he used to plow his drive way a few of his friends his church and once or twice he had done his friends business parking lot
I have a snowbear plow on my 2004 Ford Explorer 4x4. I have owned my plow for 3 seasons now. It works great for what I need it for. Its not a commercial grade plow but if you are a home owner It is a smart economical choise. The only down side to this snow plow for me has been the winch and electrical Up/Down switch. I broke the original winch and was able to repair it. I purchased a replacement winch from Harbor Freight Tools.

I've had this one for at least 8 years. I've repaired/replaced everything on it except for the switch but you can see from the video that my situation is pretty extreme. I even use it as a grader in the summer after a good rain! No complaints, here. It has been one of the best tools I've ever had...

Maybe you didn't watch the video all the way thru but it shows me plowing UP the hill, and it's quite a hill! I've had this plow for many years and yes, I have to fix it. I buy new parts for it and weld it when I have to. It was way longer than a week before I had to do any repairs. I think by the 2nd season, maybe the 3rd, I was starting to repair it. But for 1200 bucks, I think it's a good deal. What did the Meyers cost? I'd be interested to know how the wear on the trucks compare...
