  • Johnny cash did a variation

  • Boby dylan did a song called little sadey wich is a direct discendent of this song its nothing to do with what jimmy was singing about this is about things you do while on drugs all 3 are class guitarist and class singer song writers simples

  • @Nizzemanden Deep words from what I assume is Denmark's national authority on America. This is how a sentence is constructed. Seems your musical tastes all have roots in American Blues. We invented Punk, moron. By the way, your futbol team blows...bunch of prissy prima donnas who flail on the field like boneless he-shes. Without the American and French Revolution your fledgling government would still be a bunch of blue blooded inbreds. Your welcome for saving you roll overs in WWII.

  • @seanfuckingjones fuck america you stupid fuck

  • Woody was aligned with a lot of communist people, but the man was never a card carrying member. He was politically closer to a socialist. Which is world's apart from communism or any of the so-called attempts at communism in practice. You have to realize communism is an ideal. It has never really been attempted or practiced to what Marx outlined. That being said, Woody Guthrie was a true American who loved his country. He just wanted to make it better and who doesn't want to make America better?

  • i aint no commie but i love love and i am bound for glory.

  • you people just dont get it do you?.....its sad

  • By the way, standing up for labor rights, in the days when the "robber-barons" would field thirty men with axe-handles to beat the picketers, was dangerous. Coal Miners, who often died more because of cost-cutting and the owner's bad designs, tried to form unions for years. Once they succeeded, miner safety became important and the loss of life due to neglect and profiteering was markedley reduced.

Also, unions have brought you the weekend off, the 8-hour day, the 40-hour week and vacations!
