The 2010 CQ World Wide Contest

A chance to hear some of the many Amateur Radio Stations of the World participate in an Annual World Wide Contest.

The main objective of the CQ WW Contest is for radio amateurs around the world to contact other amateurs in as many zones and countries as possible within 48 hrs. The World is divided into 40 Zones. The Bands used in this contest are all bands, from 1.8MHz through to 28MHz, except for WARC bands.

The Amateur Radio Station seen in the video is that of licensed Radio Amateur 2E0HTS. More info and videos containing amateur radio content can be found at my channel home page. 73 Thanks for watching..

  • @wd599 Hi Jon,

I am glad you like the model towers. I made them myself from raw materials which is easy enough as i am a welding and fabrication engineer ;-)

I may be able to make more and send them out if there are people that will pay postage and costs etc.
