I guess the stretch and finger strength to keep the ring and forth finger in place is just through playing the piece over and over. Do you have any other tips?

I'm a self taught guitarist and use to play on and off. It usually depends on wheter I want to have long nails. I've been having really long nails for a while now and haven't been able to play for a very long time now but this song just made me bite them all off and try to learn this song because it's just soooo good! (But damn my fingers hurt!)

@jbsoccerbrit put a rubber-band around your pointer and middle and another around your ring and pinky...should help your strength and stretch.
