Truly, Modern Britain is an Orwellian Police State to rival that documented in Orwell's other classic 'Animal Farm':

No wonder George Orwell fought against Fascism (and lost) in The Spanish Civil far, just prior to World War II.:-

Sadly Orwell died at age 48 shortly after completing '1984' in 1948, recommended reading for those who wish to have an insight into what is really going on:

'The Slogans were the worst thing about Newspeak' ...

The Slogans meant the exact opposite of everything they proclamied, Care worker meant someone who did not care... The Ministry of Justice perpetrated injustice... The Ministry of Health killed people, as did The Ministry for Peace (responsible for wars), The Ministry of History (His Story) recreated what had happened with Lies (Winston's job was in the 'History Department' re-writing newspaper and books).. etc. etc. :)'...
