  • HEY! That's Lisa the affiliate marketing guru! Go girl! lol

  • @TheEditor80 Yup, that's me! :)

  • I've a question: when you transition, your "new" natural hair has exactly the same texture that you had before you had your hair relaxed or is it more kinky? (sorry for my english:$)

  • @MissCaps5 No not even close for me. Everyone has different textures but my hair is very curly/kinky. Watch my most recent video on my channel to see my real texture after 10 months. (It's my 10 month update video)

  • I would NOT RECOMMEND texturizers! Ugh! My hair was dry and ended up getting straight over time cause you cant help but overlap if youre touching up new growth every 2 months. I had about 12 inches of hair and had to cut it ALL off cause it got too straight.

  • @LadyLuckPro EXACTLY! I had the same problem. So glad to be done with that hot mess. LOL

  • YAAAY LISA!!! Glad to see you're going natural. It's such a wonderful journey and you learn so much about yourself in the process. Lol! I know it sounds corny but trust me...any natural woman will tell you the same thing. CONGRATS! I've been following you for years now...you've taught me so much. Thank you! It's always great to see you. GOOD LUCK! ;-)

  • ahhhhh i havent permed my hair in like 5 months wooooo!

  • how long were you relaxed for?

  • Welcome to the Transitioning to Natural Family. My 2 daughters 20 and 18 years of age and I, have started our transitioning around the same time as you. Your story is some what similar to mine. I also got excited and went out and bought products to use for the 3 of us, and yes YouTube is the place for advise. Good Transitioning and God Speed.

  • I got my 1st texturizer age 5. Relaxer age 7. I worn my hair relaxed for 45 yrs. now. I never planned on going natural. Unforunately I moved over 100 miles from the only Cosmetologist who has ever done my hair and found it difficult to make it down to get my hair done every 6wks. I started to perm my hair myself. BIG MISTAKE, I'd burn my scalp, overlap & take out my hair. My last perm was the worst, I had very serious scalp burns which left me bald like the palm of hand. NO MORE SELF PERMS.
