iPhone Headset Adapter Microphone Button MacMod

A quickie from the bowels of the MacMod secret lair. Soundmann18 on the MacMod.com forums has a roommate who plans to graft his in-ear apple headphones to the bottom half of the iphone headset. NO WAY! First of all the wires are tiny and second....FastMac sell an adapter for $15!

what about how to get a wired headset to work on a mac cause mine doesnt work but when i use a pear of headphones like the apple headphones with a mic. it only records when speak into the part that goes into your ear

or you can just cut a little rubber off the end of the jack and it will push right in, works with apple iphone 2g....
