i have the same kind of set up with my explorer post. we have pd fd and ems but w concentrate on fd an ems.

yes you are right, I dont know why people call it explorers post. if they are explorers it will even say on the patch EXPLORER POST ___

There are two forms of the term. "Explorers" is the short informal version, and "Explorer Post" is the formal version. "Explorers Post" is a double plural since "post" implies a group, which is gramatically incorrect. You will never find BSA using it that way. I care as a former fire/rescue Explorer Scout, Scout historian (former chairman of the largest Scouting museum in the world) as a writer and teacher.
