first off guyyy kalled masteroknees the only good song on that entire album is all nightmare long. mettallica hasnt had a hitt since the early to mid nineties
-
@MasterofKnees Or maybe I'm one of those guys who used to listen to nothing but metallica before I realized that they arent what they used to be and that there is way better thrash music out there. I can give metallica my respect because VERY few metal bands or bands in general have had the success that they have had, but lets face it, the new stuff isnt that good. dont cry to me because im making fun of metallica knee master.
-
@dkbadass Well, im not up for discussing with someone called ''dkbadass'', cause judging from your name ''Donkey Kong Badass'', and your witty comment, you're one of those ignorant guys who just jump on the hate train without listening to any of the new stuff from Magnetic. If My Apocalypse and That Was Just Your Life ain't thrash, then you have no idea what thrash metal is.
-
@MasterofKnees no, they were pure thrash metal back then. now they sound like gay hard rock like the shit you would here in a redneck bar.
-
@gibsonsg1423 Theres some thrashing stuff on Magnetic, but yeah, Endgame is more thrashing than Magnetic. Can't choose a favorite, as I think both bands are equal.
-
@MasterofKnees megadeth went back and tried getting back to their original sound straight after risk though, with the world needs a heroe and the system has failed. comparing the newest albums though (Death Magnetic and Endgame), Megadeth are more thrash than ever
-
@gibsonsg1423 Yeah sure, Risk is so thrashing! Cryptic Writings is probably the top of thrashing! Not that they were bad albums, im not saying that, but Load and Reload weren't either. Still, Risk is more sell out than Load and Reload; Risk was made because someone said they should, hence the definition of selling out. Metallica made Load and Reload because they felt like it. Sure neither Cryptic nor Load are as good as their previous albums, but they're still good.

@dkbadass Let me continue that for you; ''wow.....WTF HAPPENED? James sounded like a girl back then! Lars was untight! Kirk was really repetive! AND YOU CAN HEAR THE BASS NOW! Not only that, but the songs are waaay more complex now! Not just some boring Whiplash that is soooo repetive!''

Only idiots still compare Megadeth to Metallica. Flawless performance! <3
Personnally I like more of Megadeth than I do of Metallica... early, thrashier Metallica with Cliff, like MAster of Puppets and Ride The Lightning are awesome.. new stuff not so much...
