Your peppers look great! This is my first year gardening but I have grown a ton of Tabasco and banana peppers. Unfortunately I have a bad case of the nematodes in my soil so a lot of my plants are stunted and I had to strip some areas bare.

Ouch is right! I like the mildly hot banana peppers so good that I'm not eating many of the really hot peppers. Every now and then I'll get a hot banana which has zero heat and I'll supplement it with one of the red hot peppers. Some people seem to be able to munch big amounts of them with no problem but I'm not one of those people, LOL. Normally I'll cut up a large tomato and part of a pepper and mix them together. The tomato kinda dilutes the heat down.

I learned about your channel from Praxxus55712. I love your videos! Since we received several feet of snow in the last few weeks it was so refreshing to come across your videos now! I like your hat!

Thanks! Yep, Praxxus is one serious gardener for sure. I love his garden vids. I'm not sure how big a garden I'll put in this year. I about worked myself to death in the garden last year, LOL.

Peppers ship good in boxes... im just sayin!! Impressive as always Blink, tomatoes look glorious and you are a tease with those bell peppers!! that mesh on the beans is the way to go. I laugh when you say drought... maniacally i laugh!! mwah hahaha GO OKRA.. you had tons last year!
cooksterz 2 years ago
Hehehe, I know it's now far to late to help your garden but did it ever start raining any in your area? When you started talking about your drought I actually made it a point to look at the radar map for a while and I never really saw any. It looked like it all went north and east of you.
My okra has been MUCH slower growing this year. It looks like I'll get my first mess of it about Thursday. And that's with me cutting a few pods a day the last few days and wrapping it and refridgerating it.

Your bell peppers have a freakish amount of peppers on them. Holy mother of god!!!!
Praxxus55712 2 years ago
Every now and then a branch will break out of them because of the weight of the peppers. I suppose I'd get more total peppers if I ate a few of them green but I prefer to let them change color first. I ate my first orange bell just today:))))
