@YTBYlover Yeah, I had mistakenly set up for 4.0, when my own phone is 2.3.3. I am unable to check the fix this week, as I am away. I will as soon as I get back. Thanks alot.

Ok found the issue, you need to run Android 2.2 API 8. I'm guessing your running 4.0 API 14.
-
NOTE: If you are running an emulator with an API higher than 8, the working state of the "left, centre, right" command may not work. In Honeycomb 4.0 (API 14) I'v experienced errors.
Running Andriod 2.2 (API 8) will give you better results.

I'm having a problem with setting the gravity of the TestView. when I type 'left','right' of 'center' nothing happens, but setting the colour to blue works fine? My code is exactly the same as what is here. Any thoughts / tips?
