Talking Heads - Heaven from Popular Favorites 1976-1992/Sand In the Vaseline [1992]
http://www.amazon.com/Popular-Favorit...

The Lyrics:

Everyone here is trying to get to the bar.
The name of the bar, the bar is called Heaven.
The band in Heaven they play my favorite song.
They play it once again, play it all night long.

Heaven, heaven is a place, a place where nothing, nothing ever happens.
Heaven, heaven is a place, a place where nothing, nothing ever happens.

There is a party, everyone is there.
Everyone will believe at exactly the same time.
It's hard to imagine, that nothing ever happens,
could be so exciting, could be so much fun.

Heaven, heaven is a place, a place where nothing, nothing ever happens.
Heaven, heaven is a place, a place where nothing, nothing ever happens.

When this kiss over, it will start again.
It will not be any different, it will be exactly the same.

It's hard to imagine, that nothing at all
could be so exciting, could be this much fun.

Heaven, heaven is a place, a place where nothing, nothing ever happens.
Heaven, heaven is a place, a place where nothing, nothing ever happens.

Heaven, heaven is a place, a place where nothing, nothing ever happens.
Heaven, heaven is a place, a place where nothing, nothing ever happens.

Only 2,391 views as of counting. What a sin. Yet Lady fucking GaGa gets millions; the world is fucked. Thanks for uploading this.

The irony that I'm listening to this song on repeat and nothing could be so exciting and nothing could be this much fun.

ci sono persone che non capiscono un cazzo di musica!, e poi questa non è solo musica ma Arte!, e l'Arte non tutti sanno apprezzarla..

Often true. But I think most people who know DB/TH and know music in the past 40 years recognize Byrne to be brilliant. As are Bowie and Lou Reed are recognized.

Man, to have seen that TH-SMS tour in 83. I wish!
