Whoa, let's not get carried away here. Safest, most non-toxic? SRSLY? An honest person has to admit there are some risks, especially if its smoked. It affects the body more profoundly and has more carcinogens than, let's say, broccoli or spinach.

Estimates of dollars for various economic considerations are based on current market values of marijuana. If legalized, there would surely be a somewhat chaotic adjustment period, lasting a couple years, until prices stabilized at a new market value. The prices will drop dramatically as criminality is eliminated, big companies start to compete for business, and mass production by regular farmers takes over. It will be a bumpy ride to a better future.
