There's been record setting snowfall in Duluth so far this December, some days had heavy lake effect snowfall and driving winds, I was unable to get to the parking lot at the downtown lakewalk entrance and when I finally did the beach had disappeared and in it's place were ice mounds that had formed recently after 60mph winds strafed the West Coast of Lake Superior prompting the NWS to post Freezing Spray Warnings. But in stark contrast some ducks gathered just offshore riding out the storms aftermath, there were some diving birds too. Oh and the train, thats the northshore scenic railroad Christmas Train it takes a short ride along it's route during the Christmas season.
Actually, 193 is an SD18, or as the Missabe classified it as, an SDM.
