Heh,in the case of Colan, I was refering to him getting beat by his woman,having his artwork stolen by her,then her death soon afterwards.

And Colan, well , it goes to show that only some of the comic book artists and writers really make a big profit while working on the field, while their creations make millions for companies, that was the sad story of Siegel and Shuster, Jack Kirby and Gene Colan, Bill Mantlo, and many others.

@TheVetoSkreeemer Poor Gene colan has had some hard times this year.Lets see,,, off hand,I'd say it was around issue 220 or so,where they had her die by hanging, I beleave.

Again great video, DD is my favorite super-hero, watrching back the covers of this classic pre-miller issues, i see Miller molded and worked on many characters, such as Bullseye, Kingpin, Karen Page, but aside from Elektra or Stick he dint create new charcters. Ann Nocenti for example, createad Bullet, Bushwacker, Thyphoid Mary, Number Nine, Blackheart among others, she is underrated but in my opinion Miller s equeal, I like them both, I guess being a woman i a male field.

Did you notice the gargoyles are all charectors from the series? I see Stick, Elektra, The Owl, Kingpin at the top, as well as a couple more I dont recognize.
