i might disagree about the b-sides not being commercial but i wouldn't mind if free, newborn and better days had replaced macro, nothings impossible and i want it all... then again, i really liked having those b-sides to get my mode fix going months after PTA was released what with the one album every 4 years thing.
i'm optimistic that the new album might actually have interludes and instrumentals as good as the old days instead of just saving the good ones for b-sides like with Ultra & Exciter

I think all the PTA B-sides were some of the best work they've ever done, and Better Days is probably the most intense song they've ever made in terms of speed and volume, it's my fav dm song a lot of the time.. The B sides are usually a good indicator of the sound of the next album, guess we'll see what happens

Totally agree, all three PTA B-sides should have been on the album. Plus Martyr, of course which was left for that non-senseful Best Of compilation. These 4 songs replacing 2 or 3 weaker ones from PTA and we would have had a classic album. Come on, Depeche, more courage, we like you this way, non-commercial!
