  • Big boss ,you don't know how happy I am to see you wiring this system . I really want to get into it ...How do you change the 3 incoming lines from the source to the 8 hybrides system? Some people only have 2 lines and they make it into a phone system. can you explain to me how that work?

  • @egbigan they just connect into the PBX. This particular PBX supports 8 lines, so you can use anywhere from 0-8 lines, more with an expansion card.

  • Kinldy help me with this. I want to setup 8 intercom lines at home. Kindly give me some tutorials on how i terminate the wall sockets and how i terminate them on the panels. hope to hear from you soon.

    It depends on what kind of phones were in use in the old system and whether or not you have enough pairs available in the old wiring to run a separate pair to each location (extension) you wish to have a phone located...

    With a PBX system it would be better to rewire with home runs from each phone extension outlet back to the PBX punch down block in the wiring/utility closet so that the age of the wiring and the likely multiple connections aren't an issue you have to deal with...

  • Nice video =) I am looking to install a PBX style system in my Parents' office, because its an older building, the telephone jacks are not wired in a star topology manner is it not possible to install the system without re wiring?
