    Yes - it was in use from the mid 1960s to the 1980s and again in the mid 1990s. I added a link to the description where you can learn more about the SR-71.

    I saw this at an air show, and it was wild. Pilot made low passes, and the thing was so loud, little kids started crying and car alarms were set off. He took off in a hurry with burners, and it was the loudest plane I ever heard. And it disappeared from sight extremely quickly. Seeing it is something you never forget.

    One of my favorite planes and also the F117 is a work of art as well and keep pushing the design of these planes and also the F22 is amazing and also that technology could be used in your next plane and also it will help save fuel if you think about it. Thanks for the link as well.
