A short documentary on the Colorado College Press
shot on 16 mm film
The interview was shot with an Arriflex and sound was boom recorded on DAT tape.
The imagery on the B-roll was shot on a wind up Swiss made Bolex.
The negatives were sent off to be developed at a lab and the work print was hand cut and spliced on a movieola editing table (yes, that's really what it's called).
The work print was the digitized, color corrected and uploaded into Final cut pro where the final adjustments were made.
The end result: a very expensive, very timeconsuming 1 minute experiment in REAL film.
