  • creepiest part of the song is hearing the train pass

  • This music is more true than the facts you learn in History class

  • Son House's timing is legendairy.

I would like to know the last line of the lirics he sings about a (the) passing train.

    ultimate improvisation.

  • I don't mind missing that train. This guy's great.

  • Tabs?

  • Such a haunting amazing song

The tape speed shifting and the train just add to the greatness of this piece

  • my TOP sonhouse tune, most people say deathletter blues, but for me that down tuned bassline is something else.

the guitar riff & the lyrics are just something else, only in the mississippi delta could you get something like this.

"Now a look here horse, lets just go" Pure classic lines IMO

  • This is about as blues as you can get. Complete with train in the background.

  • i love the guitar

  • Brilliant! One of my favourite Son House tracks. Apparently, this was recorded in the local grocery store because it was the only suitable place with electricity in the area! And you can hear a train going past the store!
