here is a quick video I made with my Plank Cranker pedal, plugged in to a 1981 Marshall JCM 800 2204, the cabinet is a 1973 Marshall 1960B with 25w greenbacks in it, I used a Gibson Les Paul Standard, this was shot with a cheap digital camera, the sound isn't the best but here it is, and yes I know it's sloppy

  • That notched midrange sound is THE JCM800 sound IMHO. Great Vid

  • Hey there, what do you think of the Greenbacks with your JCM? I have a cabinet with G12T-75s in it and I hate the sound of them... So I'd like to know if you have any experience with other speakers, specifically the greenbacks (which obviously I know you have now) and the Vintage 30s. Thanks!

  • great tone man,i love the harmonics too man, awesome

  • i think it sounds fine. can you please tell me what your control knob settings are on this video. I have almost the same model different year. People dont beleive me when I tell them how much its worth. These amps have more of a 100 watt vibe. I have often wondered how it would sound with green backs. I use the Marshall 1960 with GT75's at this time.

  • @pdautg thanks

  • btw, smeagma...you apologize for the sound not being the best because of cheap equipment..or lack of skill. but man...that cuts through to my ears. point taken. no questions.

  • damn straight vid man!! no talk...just cool riffs...and what I'm lookin

    to hear. peace on you.

  • Fucking GREAT sound mate.
