As a member of the US Air Force I really love this interpretation, but feel sorry for the people there having to hold those salutes for so long!!!

Holy crap... talk about endurance. Not just half steps, my friend... he played more than the usual chorus, in a successful attempt to show his gratitude to those saluting.
